Simple, salty, and full of flavor β this local-style sauce is perfect over fresh grilled fish, roast chicken, rice, noodles, or even poke. Quick to make, and even quicker to disappear.
π± Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons green onion, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons fresh ginger, thinly sliced and then minced
- 5 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons Haleiwa flake salt (or to taste)
π₯ How to Make It
- Prep your mix: In a heat-proof bowl, combine green onion, ginger, and flake salt.
- Heat oils: In a small pan, heat avocado oil and sesame oil until hot (but not smoking).
- Sizzle time: Carefully pour the hot oil over the bowl of aromatics β it should sizzle and smell amazing.
- Stir it up: Mix well and let it cool. Store in the fridge for up to 5β7 days.
